Where to start off the journey?
    It is very important where & how to start off your journey, starting it right will make your journey easier, time and money-saving and most of all it will ensure the journey end at the right mood, moment and place.
 
To explore Sabah Borneo, you can either start off from Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan or Tawau. I personally prefer start off Tawau, as most of the quality wildlife, rainforest and underwater attraction are located in this area. Start off here will cut down the traveling time and cost. And you can also get a very cheap accommodation and wonderful seafood in Tawau. Starting Tawau will enable you to explore from sea, wildlife, rainforest and follow by mountain, whereas starting Kota Kinabalu will go the other way round. So it is all up to you which route you prefer. 

    I have bought this book from Amazon.com, and I have found it quite useful for travelers, especially for backpackers.  The price of the book is reasonable with quality content. I think you should also get one for your easy reference, if you ’re planning to explore Sabah borneo.
